G + K @ Magnetic Fields Festival. Duet.

The body becomes the performance site, from which storytelling, improvisation and catharsis become visible. As both performers explore their relationship to one another.

Gia and Kalpa began working together on multiple performances at Ashoka University while training in Somatics and performing arts. Now based out of Bombay and Bangalore, they are working on integrating their different trainings — Gia’s in Odissi and moving image, Kalpa’s in Bharatnatyam — with electronic sound.
